10. Universal Studio Hollywood


Universal Studios Hollywood is a film studio and theme park in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles County, California. About 70% of the studio lies within the unincorporated county island known as Universal City while the rest lies within the city limits of Los Angeles, California. It is one of the oldest and most famous Hollywood film studios still in use. Its official marketing headline is "The Entertainment Capital of LA".It was initially created to offer tours of the real Universal Studios sets and is the first of many full-fledged Universal Studios Theme Parkslocated across the world.

9. Lake Tahoe


Lake Tahoe is a large freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada of the United States. Lying at 6,225 ft , it straddles the state line between California and Nevada, west of Carson City. Lake Tahoe is the largest alpine lake in North America, and at 122,160,280 acre ,trails only the five Great Lakes as the largest by volume in the United States. Its depth is 1,645 ft , making it the second deepest in the United States after Crater Lake in Oregon , The lake was formed about two million years ago as part of the Lake Tahoe Basin, with the modern extent being shaped during the ice ages. It is known for the clarity of its water and the panorama of surrounding mountains on all sides.

6. Sequoia National Park


Sequoia National Park is an American national parkin the southern Sierra Nevada east of Visalia, California. The park was established on September 25, 1890 to protect 404,064 acres  of forested mountainous terrain. Encompassing a vertical relief of nearly 13,000 feet , the park contains the highest point in the contiguous United States, Mount Whitney, at 14,505 feet above sea level. The park is south of, and contiguous with, Kings Canyon National Park, the two parks are administered by the National Park Service together as the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. UNESCO designated the areas as Sequoia-Kings Canyon Biosphere Reserve in 1976.

The three hotels are located at the west end of Downtown Disney.
